Conclusions:
Possibilities of interpretation:
1.Masjid al Haram = Mecca, the same location or within Bait-il-Ateeq
2. Masjid al Haram= Mecca but not the same location from Bait-il-Ateeq =reinstitution from the rites in Mecca
3. Masjid al Haram=the Bait al Ateeq but not in the todays of Mecca.
- The fact that Islam is not a new religion, Muhammad, peace be upon him is not a new beginning among the messengers, points to 3
.-The Qur'an as furqan (complet the old writings) point to 3 or 1
- Mecca mentioned only once in the Quran point to 3 because:
If Mecca is a sanctuary for all mankind, that is all important, why God mentions Mecca only once?
. God's word is clear and simple. This is a contradiction to the vague statement of Mecca opposite to the mention of the Masjid al Haram, or the Bait al Ateeq.
